The full story of the legendary Wattstax concert from 1972, an LA gathering of Stax Records artists, working together in a righteous and political setting to celebrate the diversity and struggle of Los Angeles after some very troubled times!! The event was billed as the "Black Woodstock", and given the huge roster of talent, certainly was the biggest concert Soul music had to offer at the time.
