At the beginning of the 70´s, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles parted company, and while to some, it might have looked like the group would flounder without the help of their famous leader, The Miracles hit the 70´s wonderfully, and continued to grow tremendously as a group!! Of course, part of that growth was due to the fact that Smokey had been replaced by singer Billy Griffin, who shared many of his talents, but also brought his own approach to the group.
